Kaneville Public Library is a tax-supported, non-profit institution that supports

and provides services to Kaneville Township and Kaneland School District residents.


Hours of operation:

Monday: 10:00AM - 5:00PM

Tuesday: 1:00PM - 6:00PM

Wednesday: 10:00AM - 5:00PM

Thursday: 1:00 - 6:00PM

Friday: 10:00AM - 4:00PM

Saturday: 10:00AM - 1:00PM

Sip and Paint Event at KPL in January!

Love to paint? Do you have cabin fever?

 

Then join us at the Kaneville Public Library on

Thursday, January 19th at 6:30pm

for a Sip and Paint Event.

 

The canvas of choice is a decorative glass block.

We will be painting a winter scene on one side and

then a scene of your choice on the other.

The glass block is a versatile piece that can be use as a vase to be filled with lights or colored marbles.

Sipping beverages and snacks will be served.

Cost is $35.00.

Chair-Assisted Yoga Classes

Meets Mondays: January 9th - February 6th

Time: 10:00AM - 11:00AM

Cost: $50 for 5-week session, $15 per drop-in class

Class meets in the Kaneville Public Library Community Room.

This is a 5-week class designed for all levels and ages. This class is chair assisted for balance, stability and ease in both sitting and standing poses. The class will focus on breath, posture, joint-mobilization and balance.

Hatha Yoga Classes

Meets Thursdays: January 12th - February 9th

Time: 9:30AM - 11:00AM

Cost: $50 for 5-week session, $15 per drop-in class

Class meets in the Kaneville Public Library Community Room.

This is a 5-week class designed for all levels and ages. This class will utilize blocks, blankets and bolsters to allow each individual to find his or her version of standing and floor yoga poses. The class will focus on breath, alignment, stretching, strengthening and balance.

KPL has partnered with Thriftbooks, Inc. to provide us with a way to sell books that no longer have a demand - a virtual book sale. With Thrift, Inc., KPL can send them books to sell online, we make the money, and create space for new items in our library.
